Matt Miller is a poet and theatre maker based in Nottingham who has written for Live Theatre, Alphabetti Theatre, New Writing North and BBC Radio 3, often with themes of place, identity and belonging.

Matt was the 2017 Nottingham Poetry Society Slam Champion and the 2018 Derby Poetry Festival Slam Champion and in 2019, won the Nottingham heat of Slamovision, an international poetry slam between all 27 UNESCO Cities of Literature.

As a lead artist for The Mighty Creatives’ ‘Emerge’ project, Matt worked in two schools in Mansfield 2018-2019 to set up a youth-arts festival at Rufford Abbey.

Matt is currently working with Neal Pike on a tour of ‘Five Years’ (Autumn 2019), and work-in-progress of ‘I Bet You Got Stuck On The Dancefloor’

Matt will soon also be touring solo show Fitting (Autumn 2019-Spring 2020)
