Past Workshops:

Ways to Use Autobiographical Material in Creating Drama, with Script Yorkshire – September 2016

This workshop focused on practical methods of creating effective drama from a starting point of autobiography.

Writing autobiographically can often be a difficult, hot-headed process, as it has the potential touch on personal areas. This workshop will offer ways to combine the benefits of this with the benefits of cooler, analytical thought processes, to create art out of experience, and find the effective, dramatic ‘truth’ within autobiographical facts.

This workshop was attended by members of Script Yorkshire, which meets at West Yorkshire Playhouse.
